Ministry Transition Updates

Important:  There will be a single worship service at 10:15am on November 19th for Fr. Brad’s final farewell!

Fr. Brad has accepted the call to become the next Canon To The Ordinary in the Diocese of Delaware and will be leaving St. David’s Parish on Sunday, November 19th. Supply Clergy has been secured through early next year, when a long-term interim priest will arrive to help us through this time of transition. Information about the transition process will be updated weekly and is available in three places – Sunday bulletins, the Parish Website and the weekly E-Pistle.

Important information dates to know:

Saturday, November 18th at 6 pm in the Great Hall – a farewell gala to celebrate the 16 incredible years we have shared in ministry with Brad. If you have not received your invitation and would like to attend, please contact the Parish Office to be added to the reservation list. All are welcome!

Sunday, November 19th – a single worship service at 10:15 am where we bid farewell to Brad and thank God for our many blessings.

Sunday, November 19th – a special Hospitality Hour to say a final farewell to Brad. Help is needed for food items. Click HERE to add your name. All are welcome!

Sunday, November 26th – We return to our regular pattern of two worship services. The Rev. Jim Bimbi will be our Celebrant and preacher.                                                                                       Advent wreath making and lasagna dinner will take place in the Great Hall!

 

During the month of December and early January, the Wardens have secured the services of the Rev. David Andrews for all worship services and for pastoral      emergencies.
