Children Helping Children…From 2,695 Miles Away

Here at our Day School, we learned of two Episcopal schools that have suffered extensive damage from the California Wildfires – St. Mark’s in Altadena and St. Matthew’s in Pacific Palisades. Both schools have preschool programs so we launched a fundraising drive to help them recover and rebuild. There are several ways that you can help… When you come to church on Sunday mornings, look for a bright yellow jar located near the Greeters’ table. Drop your loose change, bills, or check into the jar. We will also be selling wrist bands to raise additional relief funds (did you know that the color green is for Natural Disaster awareness?). Other fundraisers may include a bake sale or two… Stay tuned for more information.
